Eka Mardiys

Born and raised in Bali, Eka’s work naturally grows from the place he calls home. He finds inspiration in Balinese paintings, stories, traditional imagery, and the everyday visual culture around him.
His tattooing brings these influences together with elements of American Traditional and Japanese tattooing, creating a style that feels both familiar and personal to him.
Outside the studio, Eka has always been close to Bali’s Rock & Roll scene. He creates illustrations for a local Rock & Roll bar and takes on other creative projects, allowing his work to move naturally between tattooing, drawing, and the culture that surrounds him.
